Our team at Seal-e-Zee have been working on our latest project which is a specially designed system of various size cones.  The idea was originally  developed to overcome the problems encountered when fitting the moulded pistons on the GM5L40E Automatic Transmission.  This Transmission is one of the latest on the market and with it comes it's own problems. As with more and more Transmissions today, the manufacturers are making the running surface for the pistons very sharp.  There is no tapered lead-in to help the fitting of these moulded pistons, thus making it very easy to damage the lip of the piston.                                                                                                                                                                      
We at Seal-e-Zee, along with our research team have discovered that as well as the GM5L40E our  "Cone System" works perfectly with many Transmissions that we see in the re-manufacturing market today.  We have found that fitting virtually any moulded piston or lip seal is no longer a problem. No more fumbling around with the risk of tearing a seal when using one of those awkward hand held tools.  Our "Cone System" will virtually eliminate the need to purchase expensive fitting sleeves.
 

At the same time we have developed a more intense version of Seal-e-Zee to hold the piston in position longer to allow fitting.  This new product called Seal-e-Zee Extreme should only be applied after Original is used. The reason for this is only Seal-e-Zee Original contains the special lubricant to protect the rubber. For this reason Seal-e-Zee Extreme is only available as a "2 pack" of Original and Extreme.
